Graham Henry time with the All Black will come to an end to let his assistant to take over. Henry was already coach of the Cardiff Blues between 1992-1997. The New Zealander Henry came back to Wales in 2003 as a technical advisor.

The Welsh rugby team has recently signed to former All Blacks players, Piri Weepu and Ma’a Nonu for 2012.

As the boss of the New Zealand Rugby Union would like Henry to stay in his country, the Blues’ Andy Dalton has refused to confirm there were talks with Henry. He said:

"He's got a wonderful relationship with all the franchise coaches.

"We know he's got a close relationship with Pat and they have worked together previously.

"If he was available to work with the Blues and other franchises, it would be fantastic for New Zealand rugby."
