Olympic rings sail the Thames to mark 150 days to go

A barge carrying a giant replica of the Olympic rings has been making it's way down the Thames to mark 150 days to go until the start of the 30th Olympiad in London.

The different kind of water rings will make their next appearance at the start of the Olympics which will be officially opened on the 27th of July with a ceremony at the Olympic stadium in Stratford.

Speaking about the Games, Mayor of London Boris Johnson said; "'Wherever you are, you will feel a part of the 2012 celebrations and experience a summer like no other in one of the most exciting cities on earth."
