A marketing assistant from one of Nottingham’s most popular entertainment venues has made it through to the final of an award run by worldwide leisure group Caesars Entertainments.
Laura Knight (23) who works at Alea on Upper Parliament Street won the Superior Guest Service Category (UK) award in the groups coveted Chairman’s Award. She will now represent not only Alea but the best of British in the grand final against some of the best employees from all over the world.
Laura was selected as one of five category winners from the LCI division.
Mark Hands, venue director at the Nottingham entertainment hotspot said Laura had been selected for her outstanding contribution to the unique Alea atmosphere.
He said: “Laura ensures all our guests enjoy best-in-class service at all times and we realise this approach helps build lasting relationships with our guests.
“She exceeds in making people feel at home through a skilful blend of interpersonal and technical skills and is always ready with a smile.”
Laura added: “I’m delighted to have been presented this award. I thoroughly enjoy working at Alea and to get this accolade is just a bonus really. Working in the entertainment sector it’s important that the service we provide is of the highest standard and I always ensure the customers I serve are looked after to the best of my ability.”
