Ten people were arrested on Wednesday during targeted police raids in the Redcar and Cleveland area.
The ten men aged between 17 and 23 had been arrested in the raids which were aimed at outstanding suspects for burglaries and thefts within the district.
Of those arrested, one male aged 18 was charged with two offences of theft and was remanded in police custody and appeared before Teesside Magistrates Court yesterday.
A 19-year-old man was charged with two offences of house burglaries and was also remanded in police custody and will also appear before Teesside Magistrates Court today.
Four of the men were also charged with offences of theft and four were released with no further action.
